PHES Program

A PHES program has been developed from the research I carried out on pumped hydroelectric energy storage (PHES) in collaboration with Atlas Computers Ltd. The program was designed to:

Scan a user specified terrain, and identify if there are any
suitable locations to build pumped hydroelectric energy storage

This program is now commercially available if you want analyse an area for potential PHES sites. All you need to do is follow four easy steps:

  1. Contact us
  2. Specify the area that you would like to analyse
  3. Specify your criteria you would like to search for
  4. Get the results

Also, a detailed explanation of the program can be found in the EESAT 2009 conference paper and also in a journal article which was published in the journal of ENERGY (requires access to ScienceDirect).
